This year sees the The Fashion Museum in Bath celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special display that will showcase 50 of its most glamorous dresses with the wow factor! The exhibition includes a gorgeous gold embroidered Georgian court dress and a delicate 1870s gauze bustle day dress, alongside a slinky jersey evening dress by Ossie Clark and a classic chic Chanel suit. The exhibition features the iconic and influential names of 20th century couture – Schiaparelli, Poiret, Vionnet, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent – as well as today’s most desired fashion designers and brands including Erdem, Burberry and John Rocha. A definite place to visit this Summer especially for all those interested in fashion through the ages – and we all love a bit of glamour… I’ll definitely be popping along one Sunday soon!
